July 7, the day of the event, is Tanabata, and it is also specified as the day of the dried shiy take. And shiy take used to be an offering to God, and it was customary for Japanese to taste somen with shishiedo on Tanabata.
On the day of the event, when the siban is dedicated to the shrine on the 1st level of the venue, the whitefly flies toward the heavens, and the heavenly man who received it will throw a sink somen that looks like heavenly hagoromo from the 3rd to the 1st. And we will taste somen at shiitake dashi "oh!dashi" sold by Shiitake Festival on 7/7.

The venue was 100BANCH, an incubation facility in Shibuya where shiitake mushroom festival is located.
